FROM PASSION

TO PERFECTION

It all started with two brothers, Oliver and Tobias, in a garage south of Copenhagen.

What began as a passion project has grown into an international car care brand. After becoming the fastest growing car care brand in Denmark with thousands of loyal customers, we launched our best seller in the UK and US in 2026, with more products arriving throughout the year.

But to understand why we built KENSEI, you have to go back to the beginning.

More than "Just" a car

We've loved cars for as long as we can remember. Not just owning them, but the feeling of driving. The sound. And the experiences that come with it. From driving to your first date, to the memories made on long road trips and everything in between, your car is there for some of life's best moments.

Because car care should be easy

But the idea for KENSEI really took shape in 2024, when Tobias worked at Audi. He got a unique insight into how professionals use products, and what customers were doing at home. The picture was clear: DIY products were either too cheap to work, or so complicated you almost needed a degree to use them correctly.

We thought that was wrong.

Cars aren't made to sit in the driveway while you figure out which product goes in which order. They're made to be driven. To create memories. To look sharp on the road, not just in the garage. And it shouldn't take a degree to give your car the protection it deserves.

So we made KENSEI.

A car care brand where the driver comes first. Built for those who love their car but don't have the time, energy or desire to spend hours maintaining it. We worked with leading chemists and manufacturers in the car care industry to formulate products using the same technology professional detailers use, made simpler and more forgiving for everyone. Whether you've never cared for a car before, or you're an experienced enthusiast who just wants it done right and done fast.
